Hello beautiful people,
I am back home after 4 weeks of discovering the south of Spain and a part of Morocco!
My ultimate goal this trip was to take it easy! I really needed the rest and didn't want this trip to be an working holiday! I did took my camera but didn't took all my lenses ore my drone with me!
Normally I take thousands and thousands of pictures on trips like this! Yes I know its a lot, but it's a way to make money! And since I started out as photographer, "holiday's" like this all started to look like working trip's!
And that didn't feel good any more! I felt very tired for a long time now, I really started to feel burn-down again and that's a thing I don't want any more! So that's the reason I wanted to take it essay! And I didn't took this trip by myself, so it's not very social to be hiding behind my camera all the time!
Frigiliana village
After I was picked up from Malaga airport, we drove to a nearby town to get some coffee and breakfast! This village already existed in the year three thousand BC! It's build on the slopes of the mountains and there for, all the streets run steeply up and down!
You probably see why these villages are called white village! It really helps against the heat in the summer, reflecting all the sun-ray's !
Frigiliana played a big role in the history of Spain! During the uprisings of the Islamic era, the villages got his narrow streets and steep alleyways. A very good examples of traditional Arab architecture from this time! I am very curious if I can see that back in the pictures that I took in Morocco! I ant really remember, but that's because we didn't get to see a lot of the inland of Morocco, We spend most of the time in and around Marrakesh!
I love this picture, so glad I spotted the red bike! But that was'nt really hard with a collor like this against those white buildings!
Many people still life here, I think I will get crazy if I lived in a touristic place like this!
But also good to see that not everything is turned in to an AirBnB!
Some nice views!
They even have a soccer field and big stand for the spectators! Nice to see that the used the mountain to build the stands!
It was a nice start of ore trip around Andalusia! But remember when you go here, it's very touristic! And even outside of the holiday season, there were many tour busses dropping of tourists! So plan wise if you go here!
