Gummies are my favorite candies - more specifically the sour ones. The more sour, the better. Aside from them tasting great, they also look so cute and colorful.
So I thought, they'd look great on macro lenses. These gummies were coated in sour stuff and the sugar - not the most healthy. :P
These are Fini Little Mix Sour and it claims to be "100% yummy" but in my opinion it's not the best taste. Those red rectangles taste so shit I don't even know what flavor they are. They're kinda hard I don't know why it's there.
The rest were okayish.
The details were interesting to see.
There's a lot of noise in the photo as I jacked up the ISO and didn't have a proper lighting cos honestly I didn't know what to expect. Surprisingly they'd make a nice subject and the lens were able to go close to see the sugar details.
I adjusted the aperture to a lower one since I forgot that that settings exist. For years of me doing photography I always have the aperture open to the max cos I want that juicy blur but blur is not always an ideal feature in photographs. It's a very important detail to watch out for in macro photographs as well.
The gummmy bears you see are from Sour Patch kids which is probably my favorite of all the sour gummies. They have the right sweet and sour and gummy texture that I like the most. They're not too gummy and not too soft either, although they can be really annoying cos they get stuck in the teeth too easily.
Although they're quite a scam cos it doesn't look like the ones you see in the packaging. They should look a bit like kids or something haha.
To be honest, Trolli was better than Finni. Maybe next time I can get some other types of candies like Airheads or hard candies or something which would probably look interesting on macro as well.
