Hi friends! Today, I would like to share glimpses of the Chitai Golu Devta Temple, one of the most revered spiritual landmarks in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand. Dating back to the 12th century, this temple is dedicated to Golu Devta, the beloved Kumaoni deity known as the god of justice. Every day, thousands of pilgrims gather here, drawn by an unwavering faith in his divine power.
The temple holds a unique tradition: those who have faced injustice write their pleas on paper, seeking Golu Devta's intervention. It is believed that his divine judgment never falters. When wishes are fulfilled, devotees express their happiness and gratitude by tying copper bells around its premises.
Over time, the temple has become adorned with countless petitions, each carrying the weight of someone's story, their plea for justice.
Thanks for visiting! If you'd like to learn more about this deity, feel free to explore it here. I’ll be sharing more photos from this temple soon. Wishing you a wonderful day ahead!
