Yesterday I went to visit Hatu temple and Tanijubad lake with my friends. Today I am writing only about that. This place is Narkanda which comes under Shimla district. Talking about height, the height here is 3400 meters. Visiting a temple situated at such a height is an amazing experience. India is a land of religion anyway, there are temples at every step with which people's faith is connected.
The first photo is of wild rose which is in Chheran village itself. The next photo is of Shiro, a local dog...nowadays he lives here in the village with the children. The third photo is of Hatu Devi temple. This is a local temple in which people have great faith. It is believed that every wish made here is fulfilled. Well, I had darshan of the goddess and did not ask for anything.
It is said about the photo with large rocks that it is a stove on which Bhima used to cook food. After having some fun here and clicking photos, we move ahead. On the way back we stop for food where we eat paratha with tea.
The next destination is Tanijubad Lake. This is an unnatural lake which is situated at 2350 meters. I could not stop myself from seeing the reflection in the water, so I tried to click some amazing photos. I hope you liked this effort.
