I will not talk much because there are some houses here which live in heaven. Yes, houses can also live in heaven. You might be thinking that only humans can live in heaven. Here every house lives in heaven. And I don't even know how much time has passed since I lived in these heavenly homes.
Let me tell you how this place is heaven. First of all, this is the Himalayas and that too the Indian Himalayas...This is a country woven in the garland of different languages, different religions and different cultures. The land at an altitude of 2450 meters in the Indian Himalayas is special in itself. Because snow falls here and some rare trees are found only here.
Let's talk a little about Kalu again. I don't know the age of this dog but it has seen many ups and downs in its life. It has encountered leopards many times; one of its companions was taken away by the leopard. But this Kalu, despite knowing everything, lives as if nothing happened. Even today he lives his life like a lion. You can see the depth in his eyes.
Umbrella-like huts have been built for the villagers in the middle of the forest. Their job is to prevent the devotees from getting cold when it snows and to prevent them from getting wet when it rains. These huts amidst cedar trees can save anyone's life and such huts can be seen almost everywhere here.
So we were talking about heavenly homes. There are only such houses here in this entire valley. In the photos you can see how apple and cedar trees have decorated the houses. It has been made so beautiful as if nature is preparing itself to meet its lover.
And while leaving, let me tell you that along with the houses, the people living here are also no less than religious souls. I am saying this because the hill people have helped me many times. Many times, when I was stuck alone on the mountain, these people came as nature's messiahs and took me out from there to a safe place. Even today my head bows before him.
