A long time between doing a wedding for clients of my own. This one was a very laid back affair, held in a small-city pub, in a small-city function room, with an incredible group of lovely, amazing humans, who didn't even want to meet me in person before the day.
We discussed their desired outcomes, some documentary style work, nothing too obviously posed, and to just be present.
Present I was; this was one of the most enjoyable evenings I've had with wedding photography. It helps that the couple also got married on the same day I did, just a few years apart. I didn't realise this until much later on, after the occasion.
They were pretty pleased with the outcome of their day, my images. Some highlights below.
I love my 35mm lens
The bride had to show off her boots. :D
A tender, candid moment, later in the evening.
Fixing the hair.
"Stop photo bombing!"

Party time!

I've photographed three weddings so far this year. This one is my favourite one yet. If you're in the Adelaide area in South Australia and want a photographer, let me know - I'd love to capture your image and would even accept payment in HIVE / HBD! :)
