Today I want to share a small gallery of images of a very special visit to Mendoza, in Argentina, In those days, I had a mishap with my phone that fortunately I was able to solve. Looking at my files I realized that I had forgotten some pictures, the Puente del Inca, a rock formation that was named after the visit of the Inca Indians who came to the place for its hot springs and a nice visit to the Norton Winery.

During the tour to Norton, we were able to learn about the vineyards, the cultivation of different types of grapes, the winemaking process, quality control, storage, part of the history of the place, in short, everything related to the winery and its production. We learned many things, it is a world apart, each type of grape has different treatments and care, hence the difference in taste, aroma, appearance and color, among many other characteristics. I considered myself ignorant of the subject, until I took this wonderful tour.

There are many varieties of grapes, hence the name of the wines, Cabernet (Sauvignon, Franc), Merlot, Malbec and many more. The place is beautiful, inside the facilities there is a small living room that captivated me. We went to this particular winery because it was recommended to us and I must say that it was the right visit. However, there are many more wineries, if you want to visit them, just make a reservation and you will be treated like a celebrity. At the end of the visit we were able to taste some glasses, I tell you that the taste is different according to the year of reservation. That was all, I hope you liked it.

Hoy quiero compartir una pequeña galería de imágenes de una visita muy especial a Mendoza, en Argentina, En aquellos días, tuve un percance con mi teléfono que afortunadamente pude solventar. Viendo mis archivos me di cuenta que había olvidado algunas fotografías, el Puente del Inca, un formación rocosa que fue llamado así por la visita de los indígenas Incas que acudían al lugar por sus aguas termales y una linda visita a la Bodega Norton.

Durante el recorrido a Norton, pudimos conocer los viñedos, los cultivos de los diferentes tipos de uvas, el proceso de elaboración del vino, el control de calidad, almacenamiento, parte de la historia del lugar, en fin, todo lo relacionado a la bodega y su producción. Aprendimos muchas cosas, es un mundo aparte, cada tipo de uva tiene tratamientos y cuidados distintos, de allí la diferencia en sabor, aroma, aspecto y color, entre muchas otras características. Me consideraba una ignorante del tema, hasta que hice este maravilloso recorrido.

Hay muchas variedades de uvas, de allí el nombre de los vinos, Cabernet (sauvignon, Franc), Merlot, Malbec y muchas más. El lugar es bellísimo, dentro de sus instalaciones hay un pequeño living que me cautivó. Fuimos a esta Bodega en particular porque nos las recomendaron y debo decir que fue una visita acertada. No obstante, hay muchas más bodegas, si quieres conocerlas, solo hay que hacer la reservación y serás atendido como toda una celebridad. Al final de la visita pudimos degustar algunas copas, les cuento que el sabor es diferente de acuerdo al año de reserva. Esto ha sido todo, espero les haya gustado.
