I was camping for two days in a national park called Seven Lakes, where there are forests and lakes. I set off 3-4 hours ago and wanted to visit Balat, a historical district of Istanbul, before returning home. I've always loved historical districts. Both in my own country and when I go to visit other countries, the first thing I do is visit historical sites.
Istanbul has many historical districts. This is a city that hosted the Byzantine Empire and then the Ottoman Empire in the past. Therefore, Istanbul is a very good option for cultural and historical trips.
In some old neighborhoods, friendship and neighborliness never ends. Even though technology is advanced, everyone knows each other in historical districts like Balat. While wandering around the colorful and historical streets of Balat, I of course did not forget to take photos. These streets are both very colorful and very historical.
