Sun Thursday Contest edition 4 - submit your photos |Sunset

Greetings. This is my entry for Sun Thursday Contest edition 4, an initiative proposed by my friend Hive account@uwelang. He invites us to put photos whose motive is the sun or its influence in our lives.

In this opportunity the jury of the award will be in charge of the friend Hive account@bluemoon.

I am grateful for the collaboration of Hive account@dswigle, Hive account@ervin-lemark and Hive account@theycallmedan, who support the realization of the competition.

The two photos I present to you today were taken some time ago on the coast of Margarita, in the North of Venezuela.

The first corresponds to a part of the journey to a small bay located in the North of the Island. At that time the sea was very calm and the journey was easy. There are times of the year when the area has strong waves since we are in the middle of the Caribbean Sea. When the swell reaches high levels, navigation to the small bay is suspended.

The other picture is taken in a sector near Juan Griego, Margarita Island, is a place where you can find simple accommodations and basic services for tourists.

Near my city ,in Maracay, we have several very nice beaches. At present access is restricted as part of the security measures imposed by the authorities to contain the covid19.

As far as the restrictions are lifted, I will do my best to go back to the beaches, it is a journey of about 45 kilometres through the mountains.
