Hi Friends! How are you? Everything is okay?
I know, I have gone for a long time and I have a reasonable reason for that. In about a month, I have to prepare for my semester's final exams and my old camera stop working. So I decided to all focus on the exams and buy a new camera with all my saving money. Now I finally have time and tools to bring to you my photos and story in the way I want, so this post is an announcement for my coming back. I going to go to Da Nang this week so hopefully, there will be some beach posts are coming up.
So yesterday, I went to my grandmother's house to visit her after 2 months since the last time. My study schedule was ridiculous because I always have a meeting with my teachers on Sunday - the only day in a week that I can go to Phuong My to visit my grandma. Anyway, I was super happy to see her before I go back to Da Nang. She is still strong and very happy to see me too. She is 102 years old already this year and still can walk to the market once every two days to buy her own food and cook for herself and her cat. We talk a lot and like usual, I took some portraits of her. I want to make an album of my grandma, every photo of her while doing things, laughing, thinking...I want to keep as much as I can memory of her.
This is my grandma's new cat, a black cat with pair of very beautiful eyes. He always looks at me with both eyes wide open and it's so cute. I think he likes me because he follows me anywhere I go in the house. Whenever I sit down and try to take his picture, he always jumps to me so it is really hard to have the right focus photo while using manual lenses. He is so lucky to be raised by my grandma. She buys fish from the market and feeds the cat the fish that she eats like they are on the same table. My cat food is as good as my food, which shows how she loves her pet.
When I go to the countryside, the thing that makes me love this place is the peaceful atmosphere. There's no noise from the vehicles, only the " cuk cuk" from chickens, the small "pop" from the wood stove, and my grandma's lunch call voice. Outside the house, you can see the buffalo is eating grass beside the chickens, the bamboo trees slightly swinging in front of the wind, the sunlight shining on the grass, and ferns on the ground. Without a doubt, this is the best peaceful place I have ever been.
These are some quick snapshots of yesterday and I'm too lazy to edit them properly so please forgive me.
