Last Thursday I had the opportunity to take short walks through two beautiful avenues of trees.
Yesterday, I shared some of the photos I took during that afternoon. But today, I would like to focus more on the scenery in Winston Park.
All these photos have been taken along the main road running through Winston Park, a residential area in the Upper Highway area, west of Durban on the East Coast of South Africa.
For the next photo, I stood in a driveway in front of someone's gate to take this photo.
For the next photo, I walked up to the tree that is visible to the left in the photo above. From behind the tree, I took the next shot.
Turning around, the road was making a bend behind me...creating a nice picture in my mind.
Zooming in to exclude as much sunlight as possible...
Even when you are looking down some of the side roads as you pass them, you find avenues of trees running along these side roads as well for some distance.
Even though you are in the city, in the middle of a suburban area, the atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. From time to time, you would hear the sound of some traffic passing by...but once the cars had passed you, it was quiet again.
Another beautiful scene, looking down the road...
To end this post, I tried to capture the height of these trees to get the full picture as well as I could to end this post with.
And that's all for today, folks.
Thank you for reading my post! I do appreciate it!
