Peacock is a very beautiful and rare bird. The male is called peacock while the female is called peahen. The speed of the peacock is 16 kilometers per hour. People in Pakistan keep it as a business and as a hobby. People keep its feathers in our Holy book Quran . If you see it flying from one tree to another, there is no need to be surprised because peacock is a flying bird.For mare than 2000 years peacock have been kept in captavity either for entertainment or for religion purposes.A peahen can lay up 16 eggs at a time.Most of the time she lay up her eggs in afternoon.Male peacock mostly has more than one female partner .Peacock is the largest flying bird on the earth.In asian countries,you mostly see indian peacock here in pakistan,bangladesh india and srilanka.Length of its wings is 4.9 feet.One of the interesting fact about peacock is that when it is newly born baby,It doesn't have tail.When they are age of 3 years then they looks very attractive.newly born peacock is not as much attractive as complete peacock.Their weight vary from 4 to 6 killo grams.

The most common kind of peacock is indian blue.Indian blue is mostly found in KPK and Balochistan provinces of Pakistan.
The average lifespan of peacock is between ten to 20 years.Peacock has one of the loudest sound in the birds.Their call can be heard around five miles.They are very friendly among their fellow peacocks and to human beings.But when a stranger bird comes in their company,they also become agressive.For male and female, we use the word peafowl.
My dear friend and colleague Badal Taimur Khan is a resident of village Trikhel Tehsil and District Mianwali,Punjab ,Pakistan.He is very close to my heart. Whenever I am bored and sad, I go to my dear friend Badal Taimur Khan's house. Badal is very fond of keeping birds. He has kept different breeds of chickens and different types of peacocks. Along with his hobby, Badal also does peacock business. And he is earning a good amount of money from it.
A few days ago I went to Badal's house to see peacocks. I was surprised to see different species there. He showed me all his breeds. I took their pics and saved these picrures in my phone camera.
The peacock that I like the most is the Blue Indian Peacock. Seeing its tail, the crown of its head and its feather reminds me of God's power. The creator really gave the peacock his great craftsmanship.Now a days value of indian peacock is 2 lac pakistani rupees.It is the most expensive one.My friend imported it from United Kindom.Here I am posting some pictures of it.I hope you guys like these pictures.

Here you see another kind of peacock.its called blue pied .Its very beautiful bird.Its price here in Pakistan is twenty to thirty thousand rupees.It is also a rare kind of breed.Below I am posting some are pics of blue pied male.

Its colure is completely white like a milk.It is also a very charming bird.This type of bird is also very rare here in pakistan.Its price is fourty thousand rupees here in pakisatn.Here I am posting picture of male and female.
Green Java
This is one of very beautiful type of peacock.It is called green Java.I do not know its price .But it is very nice bird.Here I am sharing a picture of it.I hope you like it.
