Homes Along the Khlong Saen Saep Canal
Bangkok, Thailand
Last November I had the pleasure of visiting Thailand for the 4 extravaganza in Bangkok. One day I decided to take a walk around the city. I came to a small bridge that passed over the Khlong Saen Saep Canal and took this picture while standing over the canal.
It was interesting (and a bit sad) to see the way people lived alongside the canal. Many folks were outside on their porch eating, cooking, doing laundry and other home tasks. I passed by some kids that were using plastic water bottles with rope to catch fish in the canal. People live a crazy, crowded life inside the bustling city of Bangkok.
