Well, I have to confess that the story of this post begins when I decided to dedicate some time this Sunday morning to cleaning up my RAW image files. Then, in the middle of the process, I realized I had a few unpublished photos of cats I'd taken in the streets of town. So, without further ado, I started processing and editing the ones I found most beautiful. And I have to say I really enjoyed doing this, as some of the photos date back to July of last year, which isn't something I usually do, since I'm the type of person who prefers to work with my most recent photographic material. Also, while working with this dozen photos, there were moments when I felt a bit nostalgic and a little sad, because this is such a small town that you can even see the same cats walking down certain streets every day. But while making today's selection, I realized there are some cats I haven't seen recently, even though I frequently walk down the streets where they used to be. I truly hope they're all doing well, because cats are an important part of life here (and I suppose everywhere) and also because they're one of the living beings I love photographing the most... Bien, tengo que confesar que la historia de este post comienza cuando quise dedicar algo de tiempo de la mañana de hoy Domingo, a hacer algo de "limpieza" en mis archivos de imágenes RAW. Entonces, en medio del proceso, me percaté de que habían allí unas cuantas fotografías inéditas de gatos hechas por mi en las calles del pueblo. Así que, ni corto ni perezoso, me puse a procesar y editar aquellas que me parecieron más lindas. Y tengo que decir que me gustó mucho hacer esto, pues hay fotos aquí desde Julio del pasado año, cosa la cual no es muy común que yo haga, pues soy del tipo de persona que prefiere trabajar sobre su material fotográfico más reciente. También, haciendo este trabajo con esta docena de fotos, hubo momentos en los que sentí algo de añoranza y un poco de tristeza, pues este es un pueblo tan pequeño que, incluso es factible encontrarlos mismos gatos cuando se camina por determinadas calles día a día. Pero al hacer esta selección de hoy, me he percatado que hay algunos gatos a los cuales no he vuelto a ver recientemente, aunque paso con frecuencia por las calles en donde solían estar. De verdad que espero que todos ellos estén bien, porque los gatos son parte importante de la vida aquí (y supongo que en todas partes) y también porque son uno de los seres vivos que más amo fotografiar... Pero, por favor, continúen adelante en este post y disfruten de esta "Gato-serie fotográfica" para ustedes aquí en #Hive... 😺📷

They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape v3.7}
