The countryside is a great place to take photos these days. The landscape in general has taken on a delightful look and going for a walk in these lands in the afternoons is a great way to relax and get some soft exercise while breathing in the fresh air...

Horses, donkeys and mules are widely used here by the peasants as a transport and to perform tasks in the fields, so it is very easy to find these animals and photograph them at will. On this occasion I was fortunate to find a mother donkey with her donkey still quite young... An excellent opportunity to take portraits of these cute animals!...

Los caballos, burros y mulas son muy utilizados aquí por los campesinos como medio de transporte y para realizar tareas en el campo, así que es muy fácil encontrar estos animales y fotografiarlos a placer. En esta ocasión tuve la fortuna de encontrar una mamá burro con su borrico aún bastante joven...¡Una oportunidad excelente para hacer retratos de estos simpáticos animales!...

The roads are wide and good for four-wheel drive vehicles. However, constant fuel shortages and the high cost of maintaining and acquiring motor vehicles mean that horseback transport is the most common form of transport in these areas...

This is a wide valley with an average altitude of 600 m.a.s.l. and surrounded by mountains that can exceed 1800 m.a.s.l. at their highest point, so in addition to rural and wildlife photos, you can also spend pleasant hours photographing the scenery from the nearby hills.

Este es un valle amplio con una altura promedio de 600 m.s.n.m. y rodeado de montañas que pueden sobrepasar los 1800 m.s.n.m. en su punto más alto, así que además de fotos rurales y de vida silvestre, también se pueden pasar horas agradables fotografiando el paisaje desde las colinas cercanas.

And of course there are a lot of cows here!... And cows are always lovely to take close-up pictures with!...I guess they know I'm a lacto-vegetarian! hehehe :)))

There are lots of birds and even small reptiles everywhere!... Over the years I have learned to maneuver my old (and very versatile) 55-300 mm zoom lens so I can get the most out of these walks without having to carry a lot of different objectives with me. So if you look a little at the parameters that I have used in each photo and the characteristics of each photo, you will be able to get an idea of ​​how I use this optical piece to achieve both close-ups and portraits and open views of roads and landscapes.

¡Hay un montón de aves e incluso pequeños reptiles por todas partes!... Con el paso de los años he aprendido a maniobrar con mi viejo (y muy versátil) lente zoom 55-300 mm para poder sacar el máximo provecho de estas caminatas sin tener que llevar conmigo un montón de objetivos distintos. Así que si se fijan un poco en los parámetros que he usado en cada foto y en las características de cada foto, podrán hacerse una idea de como manejo esta pieza óptica para lograr tanto close-ups como retratos y topas abiertas de caminos y paisajes.

This was an excellent afternoon and I'm willing to repeat this route frequently during the afternoons of the rainy months as long as the weather permits... So you'll see more photos like this here on #Hive for sure! ;)
