The southern part of Cebu has been blessed with so many crops, vegetables, and flowers. It has been their source of living aside from delivering vegetables to the public market of Cebu City. Since my hubby lived in the mountain barangay of Cebu City, specifically in Sudlon 2, numerous flowers we can find at any part of the road as we go along.
Last Saturday, we went to Sudlon 2 to attend the burial of my husband's late auntie. As we entered the barangay, there was no dull moment seeing those beautiful flowers along the road. Plenty and new to my eyes where I could not find any one of them in my residence. As soon as we arrived at my husband's house, amused and excited as I saw the plants of my mother-in-law.
Why do I get excited? Well, here are my snaps of how excited I am to her flowers. I will not name them one by one however I will describe my experience as I captured them beautifully (in my opinion, hehe).
This gorgeous yellow flower captures my eyes. It is a ground orchid that obviously grows on the ground. With its thin, green leaves and flowers are so yellow. I can't take my eyes off it, made my heart melts like Ahhh🥺 it's so sweet in eyes.
This violet one grows a long time ago. It's 6 years old now. I am amazed by this plant because it always brings flowers. It's not a seasonal plant, I think since it always blooms.
A white bunch of small flowers in one stem looks like a Santan. I didn't notice it before since it was hiding from leaves of ornamentals.
Another white and small flower with a small fruit or I think it's the seeds of the plant.
This variety looks like Santan as well however its leaves don't look like one. Its grooved leaves and gorgeous flowers made it attractive much more than the pink color.
These two flowers grow harmoniously. The white one has a spiky flower with its only petal serving as a shed and in contrast to the yellow one which is Anthurium, it didn't bother to give shade to its shoot. Its heart-shaped flowers and leaves are what made it unique from others.
Some of us knew this flower and such a common flower we can find local, this variety of Gumamela is double, in which its petals are doubled from its single type. Whether single or double, they're both beautiful.
I was so attracted by these smallest of all flowers with different colors in a bunch. Another unique flower I found perhaps. We used to call it here in local as kanding-kanding. I don't know exactly why it is being called that name maybe because of its smell, that it smells like goat.
I fell in love with this plant. Its flowers were so small and cute. How wonderful this creature is.
This violet one captures my attention as the center of it forms a star.
Can we all agree that its beauty brings a good mood to us? Haaay🥺, seeing these roses made me feel in love once again. Its almost bloom flower is what I'm excited about. Wishing I have time to record how it blooms fully.
The angelic presence of this flower brings joyous to our eyes and mind. Do you agree?
These two different flowers have something in common, they look like lavender, but, it's not. As I saw on the internet, lavender has a different style and is more attractive.
Why I captured these flowers? I know some of us are tied up in work, in life, and perhaps in business. Bear in mind that we should give ourselves a reward like giving ourselves a break free from stress or maybe like this virtual flowers can relax your mind and just sharing to you what I have. Let's spread good vibes and positivity to others.
Bloom like a flower. God bless and keep safe everyone😉.
