I am writing this post with an eye almost closed from a much needed power nap after work today, thats how tired I am!
Yesterday I was in Litchfield for work, a 50km kilometer drive from Christchurch. When I arrived at the farm there were horses 🐎, for me that's a big scary challenge.
I called the farmer several times, no response. I took photos and reported the horses on the farm on Teams chat group. They found it funny and liked it, no one took me serious of being scared.
I called my field manager and he told me horses are tame and would only act curious. So I had no choice but to brave up and drive into a farm with four houses 🙆♀️ to get my job done on the cell site.
My field manager was right, they're are actually tame and very curious. They took turns to inspect my vehicle, one almost ripped off my windscreen wiper, I had to scream "leave my wipers alone"
It was scary and fun too, they would come and go and the time was good as they moved further away was when i finished my job and I packed up are hurriedly drove out of the farm 🚜.
That was my day in Litchfield yesterday, adventure is never far away from my day on the field.
