Hello Hive! Hope your week has been treating you all good. Or better yet, I hope you have been treating this past week good, keeping positive, and spreading it back into the world. There is a new community here on hive, Be A Better You, that I think is a great example of the possibilities we have here at our finger tips. Having a Niche community is very empowering for individuals, and who knows, maybe it might inspire, where you where not inspired before, ;)
I am not much of a photographer, but I do enjoy documenting my little adventures I do with my family on Sundays. However I always take all these pictures, in hopes of doing a post, but I always never do! Up until recently have I decided to publish my pics here on the Chain, due to running out of space on my phone. Pretty cool we have that option. Even the stuff we posted on Steem is here on Hive! Haha, beat that JS, ;)
Todays post is from a couple months back, from when my family and I traveled to Big Sur River
Located about 30 miles from the small town of Carmel, is a place that has been called the greatest meeting of land and sea upon this earth. This area is know as Big Sur.
It was a fairly warm winter day, so we decided to head on over to a cool spot where you can hike, and go swimming.
One of the highlights on heading to this location, is the drive down HWY 1
Driving down this road is non stop beauty! If you are driving, be carful, because you are driving right on the edge of cliffs.
But by the time you drive 30 miles on windy roads, you get a little car sick.
By the time you reach your destination, you are very much ready to get out of the car, and stretch your legs!
CLEAN WATER!
Once you get into Big Sur, you just fell something different. Quite possibly it is due to no radio stations, no internet, pure freedom! You are practically cut off from the rest of the world when you are down here.
Just imagine how it used to be without HWY 1 here
There is no doubt that if there is a Big Foot, he is here in these majestic mountains!
Just make sure to tell these guys that Big Foot is real, ;)
Ok, ok, I know not so big feet after all, :)
Well that is all for this adventure. Not so sure we are going to go out this Sunday, due to getting some things finished around the house. But next week for sure! Until next time my friends, have a great weekend :)
