Hi Hive Lovers
These mini shrimp look very attractive because of their striking colors against the background of the aquatic environment in my aquascape.
Their color, which is dominated by red, contrasts sharply with the colors around them. The green color of aquatic plants and aquatic moss makes it easier to show their presence around there.
They really work all the time; their work is only eating, and they never stop eating. They didn't stop, but my photos have kind of made them stop. You can see it in the photos.
I only managed to take clear pictures of them in normal mode once; for the rest, I had to use macro mode to get closer and clearer shots of their appearance.
I always pay attention to their movements, and they never stop eating at all. Even when the scheduled lights in the aquascape had to be turned off, they were still moving and were seen putting things in their mouths with their small pair of pincers. I've peeked at them a few times.
They always seem to move slowly from one point to another. Occasionally they are seen swimming, and even then only when a fish is very close to them. It seems they are bothered if they are approached while they are eating.
Their body size is really small, hence the name "mini shrimp", and even though they spend all their time eating, they still look tiny. But my feeling says that they have become bigger now, at least fatter.
If you are curious about their size, they only have a body length of about 1 cm.
