La fotografía es uno de mis pasatiempos favoritos que llevo practicando por más de 2 años. Es muy apasionante salir a caminar con la cámara colgada en el cuello para capturar cualquier detalle o momento interesante. No hay nada más gratificante que llegar luego al hogar y descargar las capturas del día para encontrar fotografías dignas de compartir con todos. Durante mi desarrollo como fotógrafo he perfeccionado poco a poco las capturas que hago, siempre teniendo como objetivo, que dichas imágenes transmitan algún mensaje para quien las observe. Es obvio que me queda mucho camino por recorrer para mejorar y mucho aprendizaje que recibir. En este pequeño artículo quería compartir con ustedes algunas capturas que he realizado para conocer sus opiniones. Photography is one of my favorite hobbies that I have been practicing for over 2 years. It is very exciting to go for a walk with the camera around your neck to capture any detail or interesting moment. There is nothing more rewarding than coming home later and downloading the day's snapshots to find photos worth sharing with everyone. During my development as a photographer, I have gradually perfected the captures that I take, always with the objective that these images convey a message for those who observe them. It is obvious that I have a long way to go to improve and a lot of learning to receive. In this short article I wanted to share with you some screenshots that I have taken to get your opinions. Esta foto es titulada como “Ojo Peligro” y representa una edificación rústica en un barrio de La Habana (Cuba) que se encuentra en renovación. Estas estructuras son muy frecuentes en la ciudad y se fabrican con muy pocas condiciones de seguridad. El cartel escrito en los listones de madera indica la posibilidad de un desplome repentino de la edificación en renovación. Un aspecto muy interesante son los niveles de detalles que se pueden observar en la madera.
This photo is titled "Ojo Peligro" and represents a rustic building in a neighborhood of Havana (Cuba) that is undergoing renovation. These structures are very common in the city and are manufactured with very few safety conditions. The sign written on the wooden slats indicates the possibility of a sudden collapse of the building under renovation. A very interesting aspect is the levels of detail that can be observed in the wood.
La fotografía siguiente se la realicé a la flor de uno de mis cactus de colección con el fin de ver los detalles de las estructuras reproductoras. Se puede apreciar numerosos estambres con anteras anaranjadas y un estigma que emerge en el centro. La flor de este cactus es muy apreciada en la jardinería mundial y pertenece a la especie Astrophytum myriostigma.
The following photograph was taken of the flower of one of my collection cacti in order to see the details of the reproductive structures. You can see numerous stamens with orange anthers and a stigma emerging in the center. The flower of this cactus is highly valued in world gardening and belongs to the Astrophytum myriostigma species.
La siguiente imagen se la tomé a un gato callejero en las calles de mi ciudad. Me llamo la atención la mirada de alerta y posición de este animal. El contraste de colores de su pelaje y un ambiente opaco le brindan un poco de suspenso a la fotografía.
The following image I took of a stray cat in the streets of my city. I was struck by the alert look and position of this animal. The contrasting colors of their fur and a dull atmosphere add a bit of suspense to the photo.
Los llamados bicitaxis son medios de transporte clásicos de Cuba donde se modifica una bicicleta tradicional y se le añaden dos ruedas y dos asientos traseros para el transporte de personas. Este medio de transporte representa a muchos cubanos que deben sudar dando pedales para una módica cantidad de dinero. Este bicitaxi en particular me llamó la atención por tener representada la bandera de Cuba en sus asientos.
The so-called pedicabs are classic means of transport in Cuba where a traditional bicycle is modified and two wheels and two rear seats are added to transport people. This means of transport represents many Cubans who have to sweat while pedaling for a modest amount of money. This particular pedicab caught my attention because it had the Cuban flag depicted on its seats.
Una de las edificaciones más representativas en La Habana es el Hotel Nacional de Cuba que es conocido en todo el mundo. Su construcción clásica llama la atención de muchos turistas del mundo y es empleado con regularidad como imagen de la ciudad. Esta toma la hice a cientos de metros de distancia en la Cabaña que se encuentra frente a la Bahía.
One of the most representative buildings in Havana is the Hotel Nacional de Cuba, which is known throughout the world. Its classic construction attracts the attention of many tourists around the world and is regularly used as an image of the city. This shot was taken hundreds of meters away in the Cabin that is in front of the Bay.
La Naturaleza siempre estará presente en muchas de mis fotografías y por tanto, siempre trataré de registrar sus bellezas. En esta imagen quise representar la hermosura de la floración de la conocida planta acuática Nenúfar.
Nature will always be present in many of my photographs and therefore, I will always try to record its beauties. In this image I wanted to represent the beauty of the flowering of the well-known water lily plant.
