There is a chapel on the ground floor of the Palace on the Isle. The first thing that caught my attention when I looked at it was a large painting entitled "Maria Magdalena repenting", painted by Nicolas Régnier. I also noticed how elegant this place looks.
Na parterze w Pałacu na Wyspie znajduje się kaplica. Pierwszym co zwróciło moją uwagę gdy do niej zajrzałam, był duży obraz zatytułowany "Maria Magdalena pokutująca",namalowany przez Nicolasa Régniera. Dostrzegłam też jak elegancko wygląda to miejsce.
When you look up, you can see a white dome with a glass in the center and through which light enters. You can see beautiful decorations with lots of tiny flowers on the dome.
Gdy spojrzy się do góry widać białą kopułę, która po środku jest szklana i przez którą wpada do środka światło. Widać na niej śliczne zdobienia z mnóstwem maleńkich kwiatów.
On the sides there are semicircular tables with gilded legs that make up figurines of women. Above their heads you can see the heads of a lion, and next to them various bas-reliefs. Additionally, there are golden candlesticks and antique columns in the chapel. Wow, that's glamor.
Po bokach znajdują się półokrągłe stoliki ze złoconymi nogami, które tworzą figurki kobiet. Nad ich głowami widać głowy lwa, a obok nich różne płaskorzeźby. Do tego w kaplicy znajdują się złote świeczniki i antyczne kolumny. Wow, ale przepych.
