For a photographer that flaunts his love for outdoor portraits through words and postings, I rarely shot a lot of them since August. I barely had clients that requested outdoor photos, neither was i pressed to shoot outdoor. So when Sylvia hit me up and said she wanted outdoor photos, I was very well pleased.
Creating outdoors(especially in green areas) is one of my favourite things to do. And that's because I fancy colorgrading greens. The gradients of green are like the easiest colors to color grade. You can literally tweak it to anything. I like the thrills that it gives me.
After going through details with Sylvia, we got to shoot day. The weather was very unstable. One minute there's heavy sunlight, the next minute there's no sun, and it'll seem as though it wants to rain. Despite the weather though, we were able to create good stuff.
For this shoot with Sylvia, I tried something I haven't tried before. I shot with the bare bulb of my Godox AD600. It was a spontaneous decision, and until now, I don't why I did that. I had my modifiers with me yet, I shot with the bare bulb. It worked pretty well.

I enjoyed color grading those photos. The tweaks I applied made the photos a little bit dreamy. What do you think?
Lemme know in the comments section which one's your favorite.
