I've never met a client like Tanne before. We connected on Instagram and she sought my services; to create portraits for her birthday. She was extravagant with choices of what she wanted. We spent over 3 weeks planning and scheming what to recreate.
Prior to Tanne, I haven't had clients that are expressive about what they wanted from me. Tanne's energy was infinite. After weeks and series of planning, she opted for something as casual and simple as possible. It came as a surprise to me though.
Well, the proposed day for the shoot came, and the shoot we did. We utilized a location that had sand dunes. It wasn't a beach or a desert though. Just a place filled with sand. We found a sweet spot and began shooting. Check out the results from the session;
The photos came out good. Although I felt they could be better. I had wanted the portraits to have a dramatic feel to it. To achieve that, I needed to use an external light source[which I carried], but the wind in the area didn't let my umbrella[diffuser] stay. I ended up shooting with natural light. Great results anyway.
I created the portraits with a Nikon D750 and Nikon 85mm lens. What do you think?
