Welcome to The Open-Air Art Gallery
I went to town the other day. I went to the bank and the drugstore to pick up my medicine. Then, I went to the outside art gallery, which is located next to the post office. The town reformed this post office area before. I saw the gallery from a distance previously. However, I had enough time to check the artwork this time.
I love this open-air art gallery concept very much. There is no roof, no wall, no entrance fee, no pressure. There is just a refreshing feeling when you see this art. This is a great idea!
Alex Colville is a very talented popular artist who was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and moved to Nova Scotia. His artwork is very popular in Nova Scotia. I love his artwork because we feel Nova Scotia through his art. His style is perfect, like a photograph. You feel like you are seeing photography.
I took this photo in the autumn, but I didn't check the gallery this time, using the side wall of the old building which is next to the post office property.

I love his artwork because he often paints from the same perspective as the birds, like this.

This is Allex Colville. His photo reminded me of Picasso.

It's so spacious and refreshing.
"Family and Rainstorm"
This is a very good description of the area, especially with Blomidon Lake behind the car. We often experience rain even when it's sunny, just like in this artwork. The sky is very moody. I appreciate that Alex's artwork doesn't focus much on human faces. The Blomidon cliff is below.

"Horse and Train"
This is my husband's favourite painting by Alex. It's a very cool piece of art.
"Surveyor"
Oh, I love this survey painting because my grandfather was a survey professional. Again, there is the Blomidon Cliff in this painting.
"Main Street"
This is very cool. This scene is our daily view of the main street. It was painted in 1979. However, I see this scene almost all the time.
These two photos are of exactly the same angle as the artwork. I took one the other day, and the other one is from autumn.
This is the post office, which is next to the open-air art gallery. I like the stamp design on the wall.

野外アートギャラリーへようこそ
先日、町に行きました。銀行に行き、ドラッグストアに薬を取りに行きました。そして、郵便局の敷地の隣にある外に設置されたアートギャラリーを見てきました。以前遠くからこのギャラリーを眺めたことがありますが、今回はゆっくり見る時間があったので近くでじっくり見てきました。
野外アートギャラリーの概念はとても好きです。屋根がなく、壁がなく、入場料もなく、プレッシャーもありません。アートを見ると気持ちがリフレッシュしていい気分になります。素晴らしいアイディアですね！
アレックス・コルヴィルはカナダ、オンタリオ州のトロント生まれの才能にあふれた人気のアーティストで、後にノバスコシア州に引っ越しました。彼の作品はノバスコシアで大変人気です。彼のアートを通じてノバスコシアを感じることができるので好きです。彼のスタイルは完璧で、写真のようです。写真を見ているような感覚になります。
これは秋に撮った写真で、この時はアートギャラリーをじっくり見る時間がありませんでした。郵便局の敷地内の隣にある建物の壁を利用しています。

このアートがすごく好きです。彼のアートはよく鳥と同じ目線で描かれているので好きなのです。

"Family and Rainstorm"
この絵はこの辺りの雰囲気を描いている素晴らしい絵です。車の後ろにはブロミドンの崖が見えます。晴れていたと思ったらすぐに雲行きが怪しくなって雨が降るこの辺りの天候をよく表している絵です。アレックス・コルヴィルのアートは人間の顔をあまり描かないところが好きです。下はブロミドンの崖の写真です。
これは秋に撮ったものです。
"Horse and Train"
これは主人が好きな絵です。とてもシブいアートです。
"Surveyor"
これもいい絵ですね。私の祖父は測量士でしたのでこの絵も好きです。また、ブロミドンの崖が見えます。
"Main Street"
これはとてもかっこいいです。メインストリートの日常の光景です。１９７９年に描かれた絵なのですが、今でもこの光景を普通に見かけます。
絵のアングルと同じ場所です。一つはこの間撮ったもので、一つは秋に撮影したものです。
これは野外アートギャラリーの横にある郵便局の写真です。壁の切手のデザインのアートが素敵ですね。
