Sunsets.... these are probably something that will never get boring for me. The light at the end of the day always does something extraordinary. And I think this is one of the reasons why I like my job so much. I often get to see both sunrises and sunsets in different parts of Europe.
During the winter season, the colors in the sky are a bit less intense, so I’m really glad that this period is slowly coming to an end and the sky is starting to take on more vivid colors again. Today the sky also impressed me with its uniqueness, however something beyond my control made me leave the camera aside and focus on other things.
I’m currently at the port in Sweden, waiting for my ferry, and I had a small incident today — while driving through the gates, one of them suddenly closed above me, slightly damaging my truck. Because of that, the sunset photos had to take a back seat and I had to deal with the situation with the staff.
Nevertheless, today I would like to share with you sunset photos that I took last spring and summer.
Torgau, Germany
Rajhrad, Czech Republik
Thurrock, England
Baden-Baden, Germany
These are only small fragments of the moments I experienced on the road, but each of them meant something in its own way. Even on difficult days, sunsets like these can change everything for a while. I hope you can feel at least a part of that atmosphere through these photos.
