Happy Sunday Dear Friends,
Today I have a few shots I took on November 1st from a beautiful Joshua's Valley Park, Oakville, ON.
Often my daughter manages to surprise me by taking me to a place I never been before and this is one of those occasions.
The biggest surprise came up after we climb up the stairs.
The view here was absolutely breathtaking and we felt like we are in the woods and not in the park. The colors and air was amazing, unfortunately the sun was hidden behind the clouds.
When I looked at the photos at home I was quite disappointed because they did not match the reality. Even editing did not help, although they are okay, but not what I saw.
The sun peeked trough occasionally, but not enough, so some photos are better than others. What is interesting about photography is that sometimes photos can look better then reality and sometimes is the opposite! Usually is the sun that plays a major roll, at least for me.
And here is our tree hugger Felipe! I don't know what got into him, but he just started hugging trees. That was so sweet. We never saw him do that before.
It is also interesting how how many different types of Maple trees are in Canada. For example, our favorites that turn beautiful red! Although you can mostly see them in the neighborhoods and not so much in the parks.
And some turn yellow and their shape is such a perfect round.
On the way out I spotted this amazing tree stump covered with fungus. I had to take a few shots, because they look really interesting. Almost like sea shells.
Thank you for visiting and have a wonderful week 🍂🌞🍁
