Saw this lazy dude while walking alongside the field. I noticed this one immediately with its captivating spiral shell. Normally these land mollusks are found near agriculture lands, forest, wetlands and bushy areas. They are more common here during the monsoon but not seen often outdoor. Slugs are more visible here nowadays. These creatures are actually vegetarian and they feed on flower, and other plants nearby. Their predators include frogs, toads and birds. In other parts of world, their shells are used for ornamental decoration. African people prepared stew of these land snails to be taken as a food. The snails found in Africa are giant and big than the one found in other parts of world.
