Besides being known as a "queen of hills", Darjeeling is also known as a place with beautiful tea plantations. Most of the hills here are covered with lushful tea plantation. The weather here is suitable for the growth of various kinds of tea leaves. There are many tea estates here at Darjeeling. Each have their own name from place to place.
The photos were from February where it wasn't the season of growing this crops. There was no greenery as it was the time of winter. Everything around it was dry and barren. Along the way, you will travel through a road with tea garden in both sides. It gives you a separate kind of travelling vibe. I experienced this one while I visited Mirik back in 2016.
This tea estate was actually located to the north side of Darjeeling. Many surrounding hills were covered with tea plantations. If I had visited during this time of year, then I would have witnessed a heaven with greenery everywhere. This time of year is the best season to visit and enjoy a scenic landscape beauty of these gardens although fog and rain might cause some obstacles during your journey.
