Let me tell you 😎
I have been tiling terracotta handmade, all different sizes and thicknesses, hexagon tiles for the last 2 weeks. What included a 2 days drive on each side of the 2 weeks to get there and back. 🚗🚗 So I had not the full 2 weeks to work.
I’m back in Scotland now, and no… I have no time to rest… hahaha 😜 I will be finishing packing up our belongings for next week, when we start our next country 🌍 move 📦🚛 😉
The only day I had off (no tiling work) I went for a longggg walk ~ 7,3 km.
And today I want to share this beautiful walk with you all. It was around RSPB FRAMPTON MARSH NATURE RESERVE, located close to BOSTON, the LINCOLNSHIRE shore in the #UK 🇬🇧

The Photographs in this post are all taken with my iPhone 📱🤓 I thought I wouldn’t go out at all so I didn’t bring my camera 📷

Let’s start our WALK now:

After parking the car we see the following sign:
Looking around the area, we see reeds and some ducks.
The views…
We start our day with a grey sky, this will change during our walk and goes from grey, cloudy to bright blue and everything in between 😎
Next to the path we follow we see the following vegetation.
Some dried out thistles. They are cool to paint 🎨 in a #landscape painting and of course taken as a photograph.
Looking back at the path we follow… 🤓
As spring just started in the UK we find blossoms on the trees 🌸🌸🌸🌸
How can I not share them with you 🥰
Looking out over the water we see in the distance a hide. This is a small building you can go into and observe the wildlife and birds around you trough small windows you can open. 😎 It has benches in it to sit at those windows.
Walking further we see this. It is enormous and out of iron / concrete and has some nice artwork painted on it. Let me show you 😊

It even has a highland cow 🐮 on it 🥰🥰🥰

Next to me I notice little droplets 💧 on the ends of the grasses and capture them 🤓
Looking back at the path we walked ☀️
And the views around us. It is soooo peaceful here, just what I needed after the work I have been doing for the tiling. A welcome rest in the middle indeed 😉
Talking about breaks, there are picnic tables and benches all around this area to sit for a little while 😊
When we walked to one of the hides to check out what we could see… the fence on the side had these look outs in them… 😎 I liked the framed picture 🥰 do you?
Inside the hide we look over the water, some birds just flew away…
I follow them to take a few more photographs. 📸 Love their #reflections in the water.
Leaving the building we see on the other side a pair of swans 🦢 🦢
So many birds are around this area, one can hear only birds…
Let’s walk further along the path.
Suddenly next to us we see this goose.
And in the distance an artwork. Let’s check it out 🤓
One side has “mirrors”, flowing along……… with birds etched in them.

In front of this #artwork, some geese are standing on the path.
Just when I wanted to walk further… I see a #bee 🐝 land on this dandelion 🌼
Aaawwwww I #love ❤️ #bees 🐝🐝🐝🐝 but you can imagine that for yourself I think 😉

Good… ☺️let’s walk a bit further…
More blossoms in the trees next to us. 🌸🌸🌸🌸
And some more geese wandering by, or are we wandering by… I think both 🤓
We walk up some steps and reach the highest part.
Now we have a view much further away and on top of the nature reserve 😊 one can see for milessssssss
Stunning isn’t it?
If you would walk this direction to the end, you reach the sea 🌊 that isn’t that far away.
Looking in the direction we have been coming from, the walking paths… you see the wetlands and reeds.
More spring flowers… yep… don’t forget about #alwaysaflower 🥰
Some large cows or even oxen… I can’t really tell from this far away. 🤓🐮
As we walk further… we go around this area to the left. The view:
Zooming in a bit you see how many birds are present in the distance. Mainly waders… 😎
More #spring blooms along the path. The #sky is looking so good right now ☺️
Next to the visitor centre… where we had some lunch.
Through the window…
Walking back to the car I spot this bird in flight 🤓
