How are you hive friends?
This is the result of my phorography this morning. So since this morning I had nothing to do and I used the free time to look for photos on the edge of the rice field behind my house. The object that I found was a small animal, namely the walang sangit. Maybe you often see walang sangit because this walang sangit is widely available in Indonesia because Indonesia is one of the countries with the most farmers such as plants and other plants such as rice plants, he really likes rice plants.
Walang sangit is a type of insect that is harmful to rice plants. In Indonesia these insects are called GEUSONG (Aceh), KUNGKANG (Sunda), PLANGGANG (Sumatra), and TENANG (Madura). Walang sangit is one of the most dangerous pests for rice farmers, especially young rice fruit which is still filled with liquid, he likes it very much, it is the most delicious meal for the animal. This walang sangit when the weather is hot he goes down to the rice stalks but when it rains he goes up to the rice fields.
This walang sangit is very easy to spot because it has the characteristics of an elongated body measuring 2 cm, brown in color, has six legs on the left, three on the right, has two antennae and has a trunk for sucking liquid from rice plants. Walang sangit also has an unpleasant aroma that is emitted when it is disturbed and disturbed.
Walang sangit attacks rice plants in the still-fluid phase of rice fruit, namely by sucking the liquid that is in the rice fruit, so that the rice fruit is no longer filled and the fruit is not perfect anymore so that the rice produced is good again, yellowish in color and even only the skin remains.
That's a little information from me about the image that I posted. Maybe there are still many shortcomings in my post, I apologize.
Thanks.
