Wäre es nicht schön, wenn die Staaten dieser Erde so friedlich zusammen stehen würden, wie die Hochhäuser im "Park der Nationen" in Lissabon (Portugal)? Denn auf dem ehemaligen Expo-98-Gelände bzw. dem ehemaligen Industriegebiet und Müllhalde, ist bis heute ein belebter und moderner Stadtteil entstanden. Während meines kurzen Aufenthaltes in der Hauptstadt Portugal habe vergleichsweise viel Zeit unter und neben dieser Ballung an fast wolkenkratzenden und zum Teil futuristisch anmutenden Architektur verbracht. Und ein Grossteil der fast 2000 Bilder, die ich in Lissabon aufgenommen habe, knipste ich während dieser Zeit. Es war wiedermal ein echter,fast ungestörter Foto-Marathon. Nur einmal bin ich von einer Security-Dame unterbrochen worden, die mich fragte was ich den hier tue und ich erwiderte, ich fotografiere nur die Architektur. Darauf antwortete sie, dies sei verboten und ich:"Okey,ich gehe!”. Kurzzeitig hatte ich Angst um meine Bilder und Speicherkarte, doch ich liess ihr keine Zeit danach zu fragen. Und so kann ich euch eine Auswahl meiner Lieblingsbilder in diesem Post präsentieren.

Wouldn't it be nice if the countries of this world stood together as peacefully as the skyscrapers in the "Park of Nations" in Lisbon? Because on the former Expo 98 site, or rather the former industrial area and rubbish dump, a lively and modern district has emerged to this day. During my short stay in the capital of Portugal, I spent comparatively much time under and next to this agglomeration of almost cloud-scraping and partly futuristic-looking architecture. And most of the almost 2000 pictures I took in Lisbon were taken during this time. Once again, it was a real, almost undisturbed photo marathon. Only once was I interrupted by a security lady who asked me what I was doing here and I replied that I was only taking pictures of the architecture. She replied that this was forbidden and I said: "Okey, I'm going! For a moment I was afraid for my pictures and my memory card, but I didn't give her time to ask. And so I can present you a selection of my favourite pictures in this post.

¿No sería bonito que los países de este mundo se mantuvieran unidos tan pacíficamente como los rascacielos del "Parque de las Naciones" de Lisboa? Porque en el antiguo emplazamiento de la Expo 98, o mejor dicho, en la antigua zona industrial y el vertedero, ha surgido hasta hoy un barrio animado y moderno. Durante mi corta estancia en la capital portuguesa, pasé comparativamente mucho tiempo bajo y junto a esta aglomeración de arquitectura de aspecto casi nuboso y parcialmente futurista. Y la mayoría de las casi 2000 fotos que hice en Lisboa fueron tomadas durante este tiempo. Una vez más, fue un auténtico maratón fotográfico casi imperturbable. Sólo una vez me interrumpió una mujer de seguridad que me preguntó qué hacía aquí y le contesté que sólo estaba haciendo fotos de la arquitectura. Me contestó que eso estaba prohibido y le dije: "¡Ok, me voy! Por un momento temí por mis fotos y mi tarjeta de memoria, pero no le di tiempo a preguntar.
