This photo manipulation is about the “Colossus XXL” character from the “Cars 2” movie. I was experimenting with different angles of views with the camera and light setup in the background.
So this dump truck character is all about heavy load from excavation sites. And where there is heavy lifting fieldwork then there is a hardhat as one of the minimum safety measures.
Luckily we had a hardhat imitation from lego toys at home. And for the ground, I used plywood. For the light setup, I found a led strip.
So to keep it simple and at the same time unusual, the story behind is:
“There is a dump truck on the moon working in a field.” May be, there is a terraforming project going on.
As the last step, I needed a view of earth from the space. And as always one of the royalty-free image sites offered me help with this lovely earth picture.
