Daisy;
Let me start with some experimental studies on flowers, where the first image is composed of a daisy petals placed over a spiky hairy plant leaves, I dont know the name of this background plant, so I call it spiky hairy, on the other hand I really enjoyed the texture it created.
Dry;
This one is also in black and white. Earlier this year while walking around I came across this dried plants, again I dont know the name of it. The rigidity took my attention. I decided to place them in a glass and spread some more around the glass. At the background, I used a speedlight to create a gradient on the surface of a white wall.
Dandelion;
This one is maybe the most spontenaous shot. After I took a regular shot of a young dandelion, I edited the image by changing HSL values. At last I applied a swirl.
Thirsty;
When I started studying flowers, almost every image I came across composed of plants leaned over water. I wanted to imitate this idea. I put the camera on continuos shooting mode, then I dropped water droplets to the water and as a result I got the ripples. The droplets on the petals are made by spreying water.
Still thirsty;
This one is taken before the water mist apllied above. Compared to the previous photo, I tried to focus more on the sleek reflection over the water. I think this flower is called "Flaming Katty" or "Kalanchoe".
Crocus;
For me that is the beauty. If I am not mistaken this is crocus flower. I focused on the center of flower where polens are residing. The rest of the image became a blurred dark color. Actually I am quite happy with the result.
Port entrance;
This is from a small port entry. I dont have much to say, I liked the over all composition. I intentially used the branches on the right to cover the vast space over sea.
Malachite beetle;
This little friend was so cute while trying to make it's way out of the petals. I advise you to view this image with the song "Curious Animals" by "Felix Thoma". If you use Instagram you can listen it from my post in the link below:

Feast;
That was on the spot catch with the help of a mobile phone. The image quality is not the best but I belive the story explains itself.
Warrior;
I felt pitty for this ant when I realized the broken leg. Hold on!!! What about one of the antenna, broken as well... Should be a heck of a fight before...
Hope you enjoyed my pictures. See you on the next post...
All the best.
