Even a simple change of environment can actually change the way we see things.
Today I decided to take a walk around my dad's neighborhood and seeing greenery around. I've been enjoying my time around here just because I can always leave. I have to say, it's not a bad a place to be in. It's super lively with birds around, squirrels, cats, and plenty of butterflies and bugs buzzing around. As a kid though, I used to think this neighborhood is pretty boring but now, the noise pollution is less than my mom's place which is nearby the main avenue and a wet traditional market. That makes a significant improvement in my day-to-day life when I am staying with them. As I grow older, I realized that sometimes life is about adaptation and survival. Though it's not always be the case,I think we have to be ready when that happens.
As I walked today, I saw lime trees from an abandoned yard and some fruits that I don't know the name but I remember tasting like a sour patch. These days, instead of going to cafe to work from, I finally found a spot where I can work comfortable with a massive table. It's nice to have everything I need within reach and I can write things out rather than working from a small table. I hate to work from a small table and now that I found the table that's ideal for me, I don't wanna leave. I told my mom that I can work 24/7 here and will not leave until I get tired of working. She thought that's pretty ridiculous but it's true. The chair is super soft and so comfy to work from.
I know the pictures don't match what I am saying but just like the title, it's a fresh start for me and those are the things that I don't get to see in my old life that often.
