Day One with Fujifilm X-A10

I wanted to have a Fujifilm for so long and on my birthday, I was given an XA10 with its lens kit, 16-50mm. I know it’s a bit dated now to have it and for a hobbyist like myself, it’s a good entry point to explore further on this particular hobby of mine.

In the past working with fixed lenses and limited settings of Sony DSC-H300, I took so many cool pictures that I was really satisfied with its result. Now though, I realized that I know nothing at all about composition and framing.

It is also why I spent the entire day obsessing about its setting and trying to come up with the look that I wanted. Here are some of the results from my first experiment of settings with the camera.

There were more options compared to the first camera I had. I needed to re-learn all the theory and put it to practice.

Just as these two pictures below, they are shot with different film settings on the camera itself.

From the first picture, I think fuji is really awesome for street photography rather than indoor ones.

I am still working on creating bokeh but the first time I tried it, the result looks like these

There are many new things I need to discover and I'd do some more photo hunt and walk around some neighborhood. Since now I also live in another city with more object to shoot at, I'd have to much fun with it. I also see the color changes indoor vs outdoor which I am very much looking forward to working with and improve my skills.
