Exhausted.
That’s the word for the week. Since the moment I arrived in my hometown, it's been nothing but dealing with problems and a bit of traveling. Like two days ago, my family and I went to a little hilly town called “Batu”. There, we stayed at a nice little villa next to a dairy farm. Surrounding the villa was a small mountain and hillside with a view of the city. I stayed up until 9 AM just to catch the sunrise.
Though I could not see it clearly, it was my first sunrise of 2022. I hope that this year, I could see a better sunrise at a better viewing point than where my mom and I stood at that time.
It was refreshing to see the sunrise, something I haven’t seen in a very long time due to my sleeping habit. I was surrounded by peacefulness, quietness that doesn’t scream loneliness and a scenic view. I wish there weren't that many wires or roofs, it would be much better.
I started out at around 4 AM where I explored the surrounding neighborhood. The houses in this area are pretty cool with almost all looking like a minimalist house.
Then, I ended up going downwards from the neighborhood and I spotted a viewing view, somewhat much clearer than where I was trying to take pictures from.
I am used to taking pictures at night but never in the morning. So, I didn’t know the correct setting against the light. Only after taking the pictures, I learned how to take a better sunrise picture. So, it was quite unfortunate. A lot of the pictures looked like this one. I hope by Q3, I am improving and it will show in terms of results, just like the moon pictures.
From where we stayed, we could see the mountain and also the sunrise. Though the place isn’t that fancy, it has everything we need from a mini pool to the view of the sunrise and the mountain.
