One thing that blows my mind about Thailand is that the wires are so disorganized. You might wonder how people can fix their internet or maybe electricity with such a chaotic line. Then, the other day, I saw a guy was walking on these cable and tried to pull one wire to another. So, apparently that is how they navigate the chaotic line.
Then, there's another "cable guy" which is the squirrels. You will see them a lot in Thailand walking through these wires. My Thai friend told me that these squirrels could cost them a fortune if they die in those cable and interrupted the line.
I saw these squirrels from the cafe window during 3 PM and this particular squirrel was chilling out and was looking at me from the outside. Then the cable guy went further to the main line.
This cable guy is such a cutie and he was just casually laying down on the lines and was enjoying his time at the place.
But I think he was also holding on to his life and trying not to fall. Honestly, I can't really tell if he really was chilling or just ended up at those cable lines. But my thai friend said that they're actually chilling and it happens many times.
To give you a picture how chaotic the lines can be you can see in this picture below. It's pretty twisted.
In this picture, this cable guy was chilling even more than the other shots. I took them at different interval as he moved around but the cable guy was just laying down there for more than 4 minutes.
I am definitely not sure what the vibe is here but looks like he's hanging on for his life in this one.
When I showed these pictures to my mom, she thought it was a rat because in Indonesia, rats would walk on cables but in Thailand, the squirrels own these wires haha
