For those of you who are looking for alternative online graphic editing than canva or similar service, look no further than Photopea.
It's easy to use and the interface is similar to photoshop. However as you can see on the right side of the bar, there will be ads. After trying this today it seem a bit slower but all the features work just fine.
For someone who has not been using windows for years now, seeing the workspace feels brand new. It's slightly different than GIMP and Krita, software that I've been using for the last five years now. It's both exciting and daunting.
If you want to create a complex graphic, this one does the job too. So, if you are anti-login and doesn't like to connect your google account, this can be an option for you. Since it's web based, apparently according to protectice ai photopea is secure but needs improvement in its privacy. That website also mentioned that some of its privacy policy are unclear. So, use with caution. But again, if you compare it to canva who got breached 2 years ago,my email was part of the victim. It appears that photopea is still a safer option. Not to mention, though it is not 100% open source, their github page is an open repository for bug reports, feature requests, and general discussion.
Let me know if you've tried it !
Now, I want to share some of my Bougainvillea that grows in my yard. The trees has been there since I was kid and when it blooms, it's pretty.
