Chefchaouen is a small town in the north whose charm will delight your eyes. Located at an altitude of 600 meters, the "blue city" attracts many tourists to the heart of its medina.
The buildings are painted with lime in a majority of Moroccan villages, but Chefchaouen's blue tones are unique. Its name of Berber origin Ech-chaouen means the horn (s). But it’s an air of Spain that blows through its alleys, reminiscent of Andalusia with its red tiles and ocher paving stones.
If its houses are adorned with this wonderful blue, it is apparently to repel mosquitoes. One quickly becomes attached to the serenity of the small town which makes the happiness of the photographers.
