| Difficile de plonger au Cap-Vert, tant les abris manquent. Toute plongée est rapidement une plongée engagée dans les vagues, la houle, le vent, profondeur, courant...San Antao l'île la plus à l'Ouest de l'archipel ne déroge pas à la règle. Mais dans l'ouest, dans la baie de Tarrafal et de Monte Trigo, le plan d'eau est calme la plupart du temps. Il ne reste donc qu'à se défaire des contraintes sous-marines, la profondeur et le courant. C'est ce que nous avons fait durant quelques semaines avec un ami, explorant la côte et son tombant sous-marin peu à peu, en prenant un maximum de précautions et en ramenant un maximum de bons souvenirs. Voici quelques photographies. |
It is difficult to dive in Cape Verde, as there are no shelters. Any dive is quickly a dive engaged in the waves, swell, wind, depth, current... San Antao the westernmost island of the archipelago is no exception to the rule. But in the west, in the bay of Tarrafal and Monte Trigo, the water is calm most of the time. It remains only to get rid of the underwater constraints, depth and current. This is what we did for a few weeks with a friend, exploring the coast and its underwater drop gradually, taking maximum precautions and bringing back as many good memories.
