Now when the end of the the year is approaching I feel it is not only a good time to look back, but also to look forward. But before we start writing next year's story we better check once more all the things we have done so far. I am sure you will find so much beauty.
2021 was and is a good year! Just don't let anyone tell you that's wrong, because only you should set the agenda. I know a lot of things went wrong this year and out of control again, but I don't let anyone or anything steal a whole year from me.
Since we were limited to our own prefecture for the most part this year, we had to hang around in the neighborhood more and take a closer look there. This has almost become a routine now and is still a lot of fun for us. Everywhere there are wonderful places to discover and you do not always have to travel hundreds or thousands of kilometers to find them. Sometimes it is enough to visit the immediate or wider surroundings, as our planet has so much to offer everywhere.
That's why we continue to get out of the house every chance we get and explore. We rarely hit the city; most of the time we were in the countryside, in the woods and mountains, or in parks and by lakes. Our world was beautiful this year too and we were lucky enough to enjoy some of it. These little trips then helped us through the year and gave us momentum and strength to face the challenges that also came our way.
And because retrospectives can also become predictions, I'll just start digging a little into the impressions and pictures of this year and then build up anticipation for next year, because there will be at least as much to discover as there was this year.
And because it was so nice, today we continue our review and look back at some of the moments and places of this year.

Jetzt, wo sich das Ende des Jahres nähert, ist es nicht nur ein guter Zeitpunkt, um zurückzublicken, sondern auch um nach vorne zu schauen. Aber bevor wir anfangen, das nächste Jahr zu schreiben, sollten wir noch einmal all das betrachten, was wir bis jetzt getan haben. Ich bin sicher, wir werden viel Schönes finden.
2020 war und ist ein gutes Jahr! Lasst euch nur von keinem einreden, dass das nicht richtig ist, denn die Agenda sollte nur ihr selber bestimmen. Und auch wenn in diesem Jahr so einiges falsch und aus dem Ruder gelaufen ist, lasse ich mir doch von nichts und niemand einfach so ein ganzes Jahr stehlen.
Weil wir auch in diesem Jahr zum größten Teil auf unsere eigene Präfektur beschränkt waren, mussten wir uns halt wieder bei uns in der Nähe rumtreiben und dort genauer umsehen. Das ist ja nun schon fast zur Gewohnheit geworden und macht uns auch noch riesengroßen Spaß. Überall gibt es wundervolle Orte zu entdecken und man muss nicht immer hunderte oder tausende Kilometer reisen um sie zu finden. Es reicht meist schon die unmittelbare oder weitere Umgebung, denn eigentlich hat unser Planet überall etwas zu bieten.
Wir sind deshalb weiterhin bei jeder sich bietenden Gelegenheit aus dem Haus und haben uns umgesehen. Die Stadt war selten auf der Agenda, meist waren wir auf dem Land, im Wald und in den Bergen, oder auch in Parks und an Seen. Unsere Welt war auch in diesem Jahr wunderschön und wir hatten das Glück, einiges davon zu genießen. Diese kleinen Ausflüge haben uns dann durch das Jahr geholfen und uns Schwung und Kraft gegeben, die Herausforderungen, die sich auch uns in den Weg gestellt haben, zu meistern.
Und weil es so schön war, setzen wir heute unseren Rückblick fort und lassen ein paar der Momente dieses Jahres noch einmal Revue passieren.
Aber schauen wir doch gemeinsam, dass macht umso mehr Spaß....
Today's pictures are from a small park, which is located in the foothills of a smaller mountain range and I discovered it by looking at Google Maps a little more intense when I was in search of some inviting places.
We had the honor to go there at the beginning of May, it was already quite warm and also quite humid, so that we really started to sweat when walking along the small, partly steep paths between the many flowers.
Die heutigen Bildern sind aus einem kleinen Park, der in den Ausläufern einer Hügelkette gelegen ist und ich habe ihn entdeckt, indem ich mir Google Maps mal etwas intensiver angeschaut und nach einladenden Orten gesucht hatte.
Als wir Anfang Mai dort die Ehre hatten, war es schon gut warm und auch ziemlich schwül, so das wir ordentlich ins Schwitzen gekommen sind, als wir auf den kleinen, teils steigen Wegen zwischen den Blumen entlang gelaufen sind.
At this time, the azaleas were just blooming beautifully and also from afar, this park just looked inviting and we were not disappointed a bit even up close. Quite the opposite, even the little ones had their fun here and we all enjoyed it together.
Zu diesem Zeitpunkt hatten gerade die Azaleen wunderschön geblüht und bereits von Weiten sah dieser Park einfach nur einladend aus und wir wurden auch aus der Nähe kein bisschen enttäuscht. Ganz im Gegenteil, auch die Kleinen hatten hier ihren Spaß und es mit uns Großen hier genossen.
The flowers were really in full bloom and there were quite some insects out there as well. Bees, bumblebees and so much more, but I preferred not to get too close, I guess some respectful distance was much more appropriate, andfor that reason we all made it back safe to our starting point.
Die Blumen waren wirklich in voller Blüte und was hier an Insekten unterwegs war, war auch beeindruckend. Bienen, Hummeln und noch so vieles mehr, dem ich aber lieber nicht ganz zu Nahe gekommen bin, denn ein respektvoller Abstand ist meist doch angebracht, und genau aus diesem Grund sind wir dann alle wohlbehütet wieder an unseren Ausgangspunkt zurückgekehrt.
For next year too, this park will be on our list, because fortunately the many wonders of nature happen in annual rhythm and we can enjoy them once again. And that is exactly what we intend to do.
This was a another green and colorful review of this year and there will be more to come. I hope you all had such wonderful moments in this often stressful and not always relaxing year, and you managed to get through the months with a genuine smile. Auch für das nächsten Jahr steht dieser Park wieder auf unserer Liste, denn zum Glück wiederholen sich die vielen Wunder der Natur im Jahresrhythmus und man darf noch einmal genießen. Und genau das haben wir vor.
Das war ein weiterer grün-bunter Rückblick auf dieses Jahr und es werden noch einige folgen. Ich hoffe ihr hattet auch alle solch wundervolle Momente in diesem doch oft stressigen und nicht immer entspannten Jahr, und ihr seid dann doch mit einem Lächeln durch die Monate gekommen. Ich bin bald zurück mit neuen Bildern und Eindrücken aus dem Land der aufgehenden Sonne, und es wäre schön, wenn ihr wieder mit dabei seit.
