Hello,
Today I’m sharing some photos of this incredible construction in Lisbon. It’s called Jeronimos and was built around 500 years ago, right in the center of Lisbon, Portugal.
(museum in stone, meaning it's very pretty. )
It was build right in front of the sea, from where the boats would part to explore seas never before sailed. (By people from here, it was considered impossible to go from Lisbon to India by sea)
It’s a very hard place to photography. But enough talk, let’s get some pictures going:
I particularly like this one.
It’s hard to get in photo, because it’s a huge place. Very tall and long… Lie that photo only gets half of it.
Then, you can’t get back that much. There is a park right in front of it. And a road with a lot of movement in between.
Writing this, it makes my think that I need to go back and really get a panorama.
And it’s always filled with tourists, no matter the time and it has several, but several cables in the air…
I also like this one, think the BnW really fits. You can see some of the detail.
Just those tiny stairs are like a meter hight.
This one, is on the right side of the first one. The continuation of the first photo of sorts.
It was a nice day. I had just finished a course about easing things in photoshop… and I did it here. So many people, so many cables… but I think it was worth it. A better photo was made.

So yeah, put all of those together, see that a person is like 5 times smaller than the doors and you get the felling for the size. Having said that, I’m going to go and get a proper panorama soon.

One of my favourites here.
It’s another construction. But it’s right in front of Jeronimos, I just turned the camera to the other side. (It was built later on) It’s also very famous, if you reach for Lisbon photos, you’ll probably get a few of this monument.
But it’s “always” photographed from the side and so… I think this back side is kinda cool as well. With this gigantic sword… plus, much more rare as far as photos go.
Talking about removing stuff in photoshop… this photo was my master course on it… so much stuff that I had to remove… But I do like this one quite a bit. Shame I can’t sell as stock photos…
