Hello my fellow hiveian and photo lover!
Today I’m sharing a photoshoot from a park near me. It’s a very nice and chilling place. I do count on sharing more from it.
There is wild life, landscape, cityscape, dance and cultural photography… Pretty cool no? heheh And a hint of history as well.
It’s really a great place because it’s not super packed usually. I live in a touristic area and in summer for example, you can’t go to the beach and expect to be chilled with empty space around you… Sundays… forget about it.
But here, you can find some peace and silence as well. Again, in summer you do get the school children and all, but all good. Some tourists but nothing like other alces in the area.
Anyway… here are the photos:
We’ll start with a duck in the lake, doing his business.
Ins ide the park, there is also a castle/ place of sorts. This entire thing used to be a private property and the people, left it to the “mayor office” so that it could be a public park. And I just found out their thumb is in the park..
So that was their home hehhe
I can really understand them wanting to get buried in the park and wanting to share it with the people. Can you imagine, having this place for yourself, to walk around everyday with your spouse?… Pretty, pretty cool. And this is in an urban area by the way.
There are all kinds of birds and animals. I remember as a kid, there used to be even more, like some monkeys and what not. But there are stilll some cool ones… like the majestic peacock.
This next one I call, the bird stand off:
This next one, I’m sad to say, the light wasn’t great… was caught off guard, but… but talking about capturing a moment… Just love the little peacock’s expression:
then, out of nowhere that day… there was a dance show… I would note the traditional clothing.
A statue, in the lake where the duck was:
back to the tiny, modest house…
This is adjacent to the the main entrance now a days, that hosts a museum. By the way, this is right in front of the sea.
And they even had their own church or chapel. Now a days is usually closed unfortanly, but until recently it was active.
Once you get inside the main door:
And I had to try some photoshop creativity no this one:
Well, I think it’s a pretty cool place, very rich as far as visuals go, that offers a diverse range of possibilities… can’t wait to share more if it. And wait till you see the front side of the house…
But very cool. The good news about this last couple of years… is that it really made me appreciate my place more… and also look for the details and how to get different photos of the same alpaca and all… but that’s another story.
OK, just one more of this bird:
Did you like it? Would you like to visit? Have you visited?
Have a great day!!
