I honestly didn't know what photos to take to participate in this contest. I've seen great photos from great photographers participating and it intimidates me. I love macro photography of insects and flowers, but I don't have a macro lens that allows me to take good macro photos to be able to compete, still, that didn't discourage me and I decided to get out of my comfort zone and do something cool with what I have (My cell phone and a magnifying glass for macro photos with cell phones). I looked around the house for things to photograph and of the many things I found and photographed, it was the photos of the screws that caught my attention. I got distracted taking so many that I had to make a selection of the best ones.

Honestamente no sabía que fotos tomar para participar en este concurso. He visto fotos geniales de grandes fotógrafos participando y eso me intimida. Me encanta la fotografía macro de insectos y flores, pero no tengo un lente macro que me permita tomar buenas fotos macros para poder competir, aún así, eso no me desanimó y decidí salir de mi zona de confort y hacer algo genial con lo que tengo (Mi celular y una lupa para fotos macros con celulares). Busqué en la casa que poder fotografiar y de tantas cosas que encontré y fotografié, fueron las fotos de los tornillos las que me llamaron la atención. Me distraje tomando tantas que luego tuve que hacer una selección de las mejores.

Por supuesto si se trataba de tornillos no podían faltar las de los destornilladores. Este diminuto destornillador es el que usamos para ajustar los tornillos de las bisagras de las varillas de los lentes, sean estos de sol o de leer.
And here I extended a little bit more, it was a fun photo session that I thought why not give some prominence to a cable and another small screw that asked me to photograph it too!
Y aqui me extendí un poco más, fue divertida la sesión de fotos que pensé porque no darle algo de protagonismo a un cable y a otro pequeño tornillo que me pedía que lo fotografiara también!
