After setting up my lighting setup, and getting my model in the right place, most of my effort was to direct his face.
tip:
If you can capture the curtain behind the head in the photo and have a slightly grayish black color, it is better if your model has a low back, and also the main light source is close to the model.
If you want absolute darkness behind the model's head, increase the distance between the model and the curtain and place the light in a place and direction so that it does not reach the curtain.
Understanding the model is one of the most difficult and important parts of portrait photography , because everything depends on the model and the audience usually sees nothing but his.
The second is the photos and colors, even when he is smiling in the photo, it reminds me of Jekund's laughter. I think that he doesn't smile from the bottom of his heart and seems to have sadness in his heart.
And another truth is behind his eyes.
As Tupac says, real eyes, realized , real lies.
In the third picture, you can see the effect of the eyes and look better. When I asked him to wear glasses, his emotions were completely hidden behind these glasses.
This photography helps me understand better how eyes can look and express. I originally intended to remove the glass reflection when editing the photo, but after my colleague saw the photo and so did I. We felt that removing it would take the dynamism out of the photo.

I used a pair of Godax radio flashes and my camera. It was Sony a7 r3.
