If you've ever wanted to photograph famous people, then this story is for you!
I photographed really many people in three years of photography career until I realized that I should not just photograph people, but stories. I've always wondered how celebrity photographers deal with stress?! However, the task is not just to photograph a family in the park or a beautiful girl for a profile picture, but a famous person with many fans and an audience for future photographs.
I have never sought too much publicity. One night two years ago, I happened to see a video from a music show where a young 17-year-old girl sang a famous Bulgarian song in an incredible way. WOW! I told myself I just had to find her and photograph her. I immediately messaged every social profile I could find. Two years have passed since then... Last week, this same girl, now grown up, answered me.
We hit it off and that day I was able to do this story. There is actually one more part that I will post next time. I want you to notice the truth in the eyes and the setting. She is a gypsy and does not hide it. She invited me to the house and neighborhood where she was born. He behaved quite casually. After the session she shared that if I had gone in a suit or something I would never have let her go. I was wearing jeans and a shirt, but quite casually. However, most of the day I was lying on the ground taking pictures…
After the session, I realized that famous people are much more down-to-earth than silicone "beauties" who pay for glossy photos.
