This photo story is part of the chorus stories:
" WHAT KIND OF PERSON ARE YOU?"
I have no idea why people taking pictures even argue about whether and why pictures need processing... Defenders of the thesis that they should not be processed point to light photography as an example. Only that she also had processing. Yes, more chemical, but there was.
I chose this particular photo shoot with the lovely Vanessa and her horse for this story because she didn't have a photo opportunity at any other part of the day and I had to work miracles. I took the photos two days ago. There was not a single cloud in the sky and the sun was terrible. It was impossible to take pictures of the arena at the horse base.
I decided to enter the forest using the possible diffuse light from the leaves of the trees. Unfortunately, there was no way to escape the sunspots, because my goal is a cinematic look in every frame. For this I needed contrast. A thick shadow just makes the image flat.
If I had sent the photos unedited, my client would have written thousands of negative comments about me. They just don't fit!
Each photo has very heavy color, temperature and light processing. And despite everything, you can see in some photos the green reflections of the horse's mane.
I think there is nothing more to say on the subject. The processed photo is a finished scene. We live in a digital world and there is simply no escaping Photoshop.
THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS STORY!
I took the shots with a Canon EOS RP / 85 mm lens
