There are many remarkable buildings with beautiful architecture, but extremely few submerged in dams. Today we will continue the story from last time by taking you to the church "HOLY ASCENTION OF THE LORD", Ogosta Dam.
Grandpa Krasimir was right. We wouldn't have made it to the church without his boat! This hands-on photography training was among the most emotional of my career. The girl managed to experience a real adventure.
I even launched a drone from the boat to get closer aerial shots without crashing into the church. I visited this place for the first time two years ago. From the building to the shore of the dam is at least 20 meters away. Now you see the bell tower is half under water. You may see the difference with the old story somewhere at the beginning of my blog.
An interesting fact about the surroundings here is that the church served three villages, which during communism were deliberately submerged by the government, and the people moved to the city of Montana and the surrounding villages. This means that if we go in with diving gear we will see village streets, buildings and household items.

Awesome...**
As soon as I landed the drone, the adrenaline wore off and my head began to spin very seriously. During the photos, I forgot to drink water, and the degrees were almost 40 degrees. Grandfather Krasimir sensed it and told me to immediately jump into the dam. I swam a bit and it really relieved me.
I hope you liked the place! It was an exciting experience for us! If you have a favorite Bulgarian place, you can share and I will make a story about it!
THANKS FOR SHARING THIS STORY!
I took the shots with a Canon EOS RP / 85 mm lens and a DJI mini 2 drone
