Getting to know the drone
Today without preamble
Going on vacation to the mountains I put a drone in my travel bag. "Finally, I will shoot something really unusual and magnificent!" I thought.
The first day we devoted entirely to skiing. The second day went about the same, with the only difference that I took my Canon. Those of you who are skiers know that any bag or backpack while skiing brings a lot of inconvenience. Therefore, usually for filming on the tracks, I allocate one day from a vacation week. This time I already had to set aside two days! It is simply impossible to take two cases with a camera and a drone with you. It will not be skiing, but torture.
We returned a couple of times before sunset. I managed to raise the drone before dark and take pictures of the surroundings.

Unfortunately, the weather turned bad, a sharp wind blew, the sky was covered with low clouds, a snowstorm began. In such conditions, it is extremely difficult to ski. Drones are out of the question.
The blizzard raged for three days in a row. Snow covered the roads. The funiculars and lifts stopped. The mountain resort is frozen. Vacationers went to mineral springs and spas.
The weather improved towards the end of the holiday. We didn't get enough of skiing at all. I completely forgot about the drone. However, my companions insisted that I take the drone to the mountains and take at least a few shots on the descents. I had to give in.

The process of shooting with a drone involves a careful choice of location. It is recommended to choose a place free of trees and high-rise buildings. The operator should consider the shooting process in advance in order to avoid damage or loss of communication with the drone. These tasks become much more difficult if the operator is skiing.

During filming, the sun shone brightly. During video recording, the indicator showed a significant over-illumination of surfaces. I was not ready for this, because I always shot in automatic mode. In the end, I had to limit myself to photography.
In the evening, I watched a few guides and figured out how to adjust the drone settings depending on the light.

When I got home, another surprise awaited me. It turned out that the drone shoots in tracking mode, the drone takes three frames: light, medium and dark. Then the user must process the frames in a graphics editor.

In the above photos you can see the surroundings around the town of Brzeće where the funicular is located. We stayed at the Ozone Hotel. I can safely recommend this hotel.

In conclusion, I want to say that I like this device. There are many more interesting discoveries and knowledge waiting for me.

Below are photos without processing in the editor:
