Anytime I have been to the mountains I find its the moody overcast days that bring out the best photos. Its windy and cool, the drama this creates can help make the images more captivating. Them ripples in the water, the clouds blanketing the landscape, the dark shadows on the mountains all seem to enhance the scenes. So while it is great when its sun and warm and sometimes not as pleasant when its chilly I will take the cool weather any day if it can help create a more interesting look.
